Questions

How does it know the floor?

GPS follows you up to the garage entrance. Inside, where GPS doesn’t reach, the phone’s sensors weigh air pressure, tilt and similar signals together to count the ramps you drive up or down.

Do I need to do anything?

At the start, allow location access “Always” and allow Motion & Fitness. That’s it. When you park, your floor is saved without confirming anything, and a silent notification says “Parked on B1”. When the floor is uncertain, the app asks “Did you park on B2?” — press and hold the notification to answer right there, yes or another floor.

Do I need to look at the app while driving?

No. Keep the phone in the same place in the car every time, like a charging mount. There is nothing to do in the app while you drive. A passenger can turn on Passenger mode (동승자 모드) to see the moving scene and tips during the drive.

Can my floor show on the Lock Screen?

Turn on Settings (정보·설정) → Show parking floor on Lock Screen (잠금 화면에 주차 층 띄우기) and your floor appears on the Lock Screen around the time you usually leave. You can also keep it there the whole time you are parked. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show it too.

The floor is wrong.

Tap Edit (수정) on the home screen, or tap the record in Recent history (최근 기록). Records that weren’t parking can be deleted. Telling us through in-app feedback helps a lot in improving how floors are counted.

My parking wasn’t recorded.

If the top of Settings (정보·설정) says automatic recording is paused (자동 기록이 멈춰 있어요), fix it right there. Also check in the Settings app → B1B2 that Location is set to “Always” and Motion & Fitness is on. If you tell us about a missed parking through feedback, it helps us improve detection.

It asks for the floor a lot.

Multi-storey garages above ground and mechanical parking (car lifts) are hard to tell apart by their ramps, so the app may ask more often there. Press and hold the notification to answer in one step.

When is my location used?

While you drive and to remember where you parked. While you are parked, the app doesn’t keep location on, so the location indicator goes away; iOS only tells the app when the car leaves.

Where do place names come from?

The app looks up places near where you parked on Kakao Map at that moment. The names it finds are not stored; only names you type and the building name from Korea’s building register are kept.

Where are my records kept?

Parking records stay on this device and are deleted when you delete the app. You can also delete them any time in Settings (정보·설정) → Delete all parking records (주차 기록 모두 지우기). Research data is sent only if you turn it on yourself in Settings. Building floor information is sent without anything that identifies you, and you can turn it off in Settings. Anonymous usage statistics, such as the days the app was used and how often, are sent only as daily counts with no device ID, and you can turn them off in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.

What is building floor information?

So that someone visiting a building for the first time can still get the right floor, the app pools the floor you parked on and how far you went down from the entrance (the air pressure difference) with the building’s parcel number. No coordinates, device ID or time are sent. When a floor is uncertain, the app works it out again from this table — on your phone. It is on by default; turn it off in Settings (정보·설정) → Share building floor information (건물 층 정보 나누기).

Which devices are supported?

iPhone with iOS 26 or later. There is no Android version yet.
